The Podcast is LIVE!

We have been working on this project for a while and are SO excited to announce...

The "Mindful Musings: Mindful Living Made Simple" podcast is live!

We are honored and humbled to have a guest list full of brilliant and highly trained thought leaders, from yoga instructors to psychologists, neurologists, meditation instructors, life coaches, mindfulness researchers in MBSR, and beyond!

If you navigate to our podcast on iTunes, Stitcher or TuneIn (search "Mindful Musings: Mindful Living Made Simple"), you can listen to our first guest, internationally-recognized leading authority on yoga for athletes Sage Rountree, Ph.D., E-RYT-500.

Sage's groundbreaking work has been featured in ESPN, The Atlantic, VOGUE, USA Today, Men's Health, Martha Stewart Living Radio, Yoga Journal, Runner's World, and much more. She’s written seven books, with her latest book, Teaching Yoga Beyond the Pose to debut on May 14th this year. (Two days before my birthday, actually... Family members and friends: I know what gift I’ll be asking for during my yoga teacher training this year!)

Sage Rountree, Ph.D., E-RYT is a Leading International Yoga for Athletes Expert

She is also the long-time yoga instructor of Hall of Famer Roy Williams; holds triathlon coaching certifications; has completed an Ironman; represented Team USA at the World Triathlon Championships; and has even taught yoga at the Pentagon! Additionally, Sage co-owns multiple businesses including the Carolina Yoga Company, the Hillsborough Spa and Day Retreat, and the Carolina Massage Institute. Finally, in addition to all of that, she’s also a meditation instructor and a mom!

Sage's work covers topics from mindfulness and yoga to core strength, race planning, and recovery. She helps athletes and everyone find the right balance between work and rest for peak performance in sports and in life.

In our podcast with Sage, we discuss finding that illusive balance between work and rest. More specifically, we talk about Sage’s proposition that instead of only finding comfort in discomfort, athletes should seek to find comfort in comfort. Finally, we explore how mindfulness can help the average non-athlete do just that in their daily life.

Be sure to subscribe so that you get the weekly podcast updates every Thursday on iTunes, Stitcher and TuneIn.

Have you listened to our episode? Please be sure to subscribe, rate, and share it! When we reach 500 reviews, we'll host a Guest Choice Lottery. One of YOU will be chosen to request a guest and join us on the show to personally ask the guest three questions!

In the meantime, smile at a stranger, hug yourself, and relax the shoulders.

Happy Mindful Manifesting,

Elicia Kristine xx
