'Tis the Season to Get Hygge!

What says Happy Holidays better than baking, charity, sharing warming drinks with family, and getting hygge?

Nothing, we think! In honor of the holiday spirit, we are excited to announce that our Pinterest site is now active, featuring nourishing holiday recipes, responsible and stunning holiday fashion, meaningful gift ideas, hygge inspiration, sustainable home and body products, and more! To see our recommendations for this holiday season, open the Pinterest app, tap the camera icon, and scan the picture below. You can also simply click the picture below to access our page.

We are particularly excited about our hygge Pinspiration. What is hygge? Hygge is a Danish word and concept, which emphasizes coziness, time spent with loved ones, and being mindful of what you have instead of what you lack. I love this concept, as it strongly represents the mission of Mindful Manifestations.

During the holiday season, I practice hygge as a part of my daily self-care ritual. This might include a candle-lit bubble bath; a yin yoga session while bundled under a cozy sweater; snuggling under a plush blanket with my favorite book and a cup of tea; sharing a vin chaud with my boyfriend as we explore the local Christmas market; or simply taking a nap. My hygge activities vary, but the central purpose is always the same: To allow my 'thinking mind' a break and feel refreshed and energized to connect with friends and family.

If you are interested in learning more about how to incorporate hygge into your routine, I would highly recommend The Little Book of Hygge by Meik Wiking. Check out The Mindful Market page to get a free copy of this book when you sign up for your free Amazon Audible trial!

In the meantime, we encourage you to go get your hygge on by exploring our Pinterest site and The Mindful Market for more ideas.
